On Screen Illayathalapathy Vijay is known for his lightening Action, Power packed dance, blasting dialogues which makes whole Vijay Fans go crazy. But in real life illayathalapathy is very calm, composed and shy person. He always prefer not to take part in any public functions, even if he has attended the function, he will be barely seen in the front row. He always try to move to the corner of the stage and if he was asked to deliver a speech, he will only speak which is relevant in two or three words and will go back to his seat.
Even During shooting, most of the time he will keep himself in caravan. Once director inform him about the scene, he will calmly come to the spot, deliver his performance and will return immediately to the caravan. Sometimes if he is available outside caravan, he will look at somewhere and spend time without talking to any of the crew members in the shooting spot. Hence, no one in the shooting spot has tried conversing with him.
But in recent times, he is trying hard to come out of his shyness and started speaking jovially to all crew members. He even making jokes about his earlier movies and discussing about the other movies as well. This has created so much impact among the associates and the perception about his character has totally wiped out. Crew members started understanding that he is very friendly, down to earth person.
