Super Star Rajinikanth born in Bangalore in a lower middle class family. He is the youngest son among his siblings and he was struggling lot in his early stages of life. He worked as coolie and did a job in Bangalore transport for sometimes. He had a great passion towards acting and he did several stage shows. The most notable character played by him in stage show was Duryodhana. His friends who knew very well about his capability motivated him to join in Madras Film Institute and supported him financially. Director K. Balachander who is consider to be the guru for two great icon of Tamil Film Industry got attracted by his stylish performance and helped him in his career by molding him in acting.

Rajinikanth has acted 150 films and predominantly in Tamil movies. He also acted in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and English movies.  Most notable movies by him are Apoorva Raagangal, Billa, Sri Raghavendra, Annamalai, Thalapathi, Baasha, Muthu, Padayappa, Baba, Chandramukhi, Sivaji and very recently Enthiran. He has got numerous awards like National Film Award, Film Fare Award, Tamil Nadu State Award, Kalaimamani Award, Padma Bhushan Award and NDTV has given him Indian Entertainer of the year 2007. He has got numerous Fan clubs across the globe especially in Japan, China, Malaysia and Singapore. He is a highly paid Actor next to Jackie Chan in Asia.

Even though he has achieved so much and he has got everything in his life, he is well known for his simplicity. He also has known for his spirituality. He is very spiritual man and he is a follower of Maha Avatar Babaji. He also produced a movie called Baba which is an inspiration from “Autobiography of a Yogi Paramahansa Yogananda”. He regularly travels to Himalayan region for spiritual growth.

Now he is working in “Kochadaiyaan” directed by his second daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth. Soundaraya has announced that movie will be released on April first week of this year. All of his fans are curiously waiting for this movie across the globe. I am also one among them waiting to watch this Super Star Movie.
