Utimate Thala Ajith had recently completed movie called “Ennai Arinthal”. Anushka and Trisha played a major role with Ajith in this movie. Goutham Menon had directed this movie and Harris Jayaraj has done music. Movie was planned to release it on coming Pongal 15th January 2015.
Thala fans were thrilled and awaited to watch this movie on Pongal. Vikram movie “Ai” and Vishal movie “Ambula” has been announced that it will be screened on 15th January 2015. Hence Ajith fans were eagerly waiting since it is going to be the direct competition between Ajith and Vikram.
But recent announcement had crashed the Tamil reviewer’s anticipation, yes “Ennai Arinthal” release has been postponed to 29th January 2015. Cinema reviewers says that it is a smart decision by Ultimate Star Ajith because releasing the movie along with most awaited movie “Ai” could reduce the revenue of the movie and it is thoroughly analyzed decision. This decision could help the both Producers at great extent. However on other hand Thalapathi’s fans gossiped that Ajith is afraid of Vikram.
Producer A M Rathanam says that movie is not yet completed. Background music and other petty work are still pending. Rushing to release on 15th January 2015 could compromise in certain portion of the film and in turn it will reduce the quality of the movie. Hence it is only reason for postponing to 29th January.
Adding to all the above, it seems “Ai” will not be released on Pongal due to internal problems.
