“I” movie is directed by Shankar and produced by V. Ravichandran. The sound track and music scored by A R Rahman. Vikram and Amy Jackson played a lead role along with Santhanam, Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel and Ramkumar Ganesan. Vikram acted as a body builder later turned into model because of Amy Jackson. Vikram and Amy travelling to China to shoot the advertisement flim and obliviously they fell in love. Group of villains envy Vikram for his success hence they deform his appearance. Vikram takes exactly the same revenge on villains one by one and deform their appearance as well.
Vikram has put an amazing effort for his character. First half of the movie he had shown good shaped masculine body and second half he looks so weak with hunchback. He has used the opportunity very well and once again proved his acting skill. On other hand Amy Jackson looks so pretty and hot. Her appearance did not remind the audience that she is a foreigner. She is very well blended with the character and even when she speaks tamil, it suits her very well. Her Glamour has engaged the viewers at certain portion of the movie. As always, Shankar movie will have vital place for Special Effects. Special effects are used in songs which was nice to watch. Villians characters are very usual and even easily guessable. Hence it has not created any thrill or shock when main villain is revealed later portion of the movie.
Santhanam doesn’t have much scope in this movie. He is used only at the climax scene where he is making fun of villains and in fact you won’t even know that movie has reached the climax. If you look at the story as whole, it is something very usual. Villains do something wrong to Hero and Hero takes revenge. Shankar has just added spice to the story to engage the Tamil audience. Best part of the movie is that songs were filmed in China which looks awesome. I never thought China has such heavenly place.
