Kamal Haasan in simple words born to love cinema and he is writing his own history in Cine Industry. Kamal Haasan cannot be called just an Artist from Tamil Film Industry (Kollywood), he has did and still doing marvelous creations which is getting replicated in other Film Industries in India. He started his career in the year 1960 as a Child Artist, probably at the age of 6. Now he is 58 and still working hard. He deserves to be called as living legend. He has done Acting, production, he has directed amazing movies, he is good singer, he writes poem, songs which is mind blowing and you will enjoy even if you are listening to it after 100 years, he is a good choreographer and he has done movie which dance was a nut shell of that movie, he has written dialogues, he has written songs and I don’t know what else he left. He has done everything in terms of cinema. He has won several awards where it is big list starting from Padma Shri award, President’s Gold award at the age of 7, National Award for Acting and producing, he has got 19 Film Fare Award, his movie “Virumaandi” has won “Best Asian Film” award, he has got honorable doctorate from Sathyabama Deemed University, he has got Living Legend Award from FICCI, Government of Kerala has recognized his amazing effort in Film Industry, he has got several award from Tamil Nadu Government etc. This man has got so many awards, I wonder he should build separate building to show case all these awards. I love all of his movies but some of the movies I’ve watched it more than 100 times and still love to watch it. His movies like Nayagan, Thevar Magan, Kuruthipunal, Indian, Hey Ram, Anbae Sivam, Dasavatharam, Unnai Pol Oruvan, Vishwaroopam are few to name. But whenever he tries to come up with different story he always faced criticism or issues in making the film or releasing movie. Recently he had big issue in releasing one among the master piece of his movie called “Vishwaroopam”. But he did not give up. Finally movie got released and it is making big impact about Tamil Cinema across globe. I always admired his effort and values that he hold. Recently I started admiring about his confidence and he did not give up till end that is something that everyone should learn. Now he started working on the second part of “Vishwaroopam”. He has lifted Tamil Cinema to next level; even I would say he has lifted the Indian Cinema to next level. He is not going after money but he is making true cinema and still learning and implementing new things in his movies. To my knowledge, if he has got enough funds and freedom to do what he like then whole world would enjoy his work in Film Industry.
