 Recent times, Actor Vijay is getting mobbed by several controversies. Like his last movie “Thalaiva”, his upcoming movie “Kathi” is getting a severe opposition from Political parties. “Kathi” movie is produced by Ayngaran International partnering with Lyca Productions. Subashkaran Alliraj who owns Lyca Production is assumed to be closer to the Sri Lankan President Rajapakshe. Also there is a spill of information in the media stating Rajapakshe’s family members are holding major shares in Lyca mobile company. Well, that is a core reason for Tamil Political parties to fast their opposition.

This is not the only controversy faced by Actor Vijay as of now. “Kumudam” weekly magazine announced that Actor Vijay could be the next Super Star in Kollywood as per their survey result. Super Star Rajinikanth fans were aggravated by such survey.

But, another piece of anecdote says that such controversies are deliberately created to market movie “Kathi”. Adding to that, recent movies like “Vishwaroopam” by Kamala Hassan and Actor Vijay Movie “Thalaiva” was banned in Tamil Nadu for few days and later it was released announcing that controversial scenes were removed from the movie. Some observer says that it a strategy to create attention among media and public to promote the movie.

Though controversies are getting fabricated from all the direction, “Kathi” movie shootings are peaceful happening in North India and also few scenes were shot in abroad. The movie is expected to be released for Diwali. Director has confirmed that Vijay play dual role.
