Movie is based on the life story of Sandal wood smuggler Veerappan. Movie is filmed starting from childhood of Veerappan till his death. So, it covers almost all the major events happened in his life. Especially the kidnap of Kannada Super Star Rajkumar and he was kept as hostage for about 102 days and released without any harm. Movie has come up with real events of Veerappan life and all the scenes which are shown in the movie are shot in the same place where the events took place. So, whole crew, technicians, director, actor and actress have taken much pain to shoot the real story. Movie has gone through some legal issue which was filed by Veerappan’s wife in Supreme Court and it has been solved and movie got released this month. Kishore acted has Veerappan, Arjun acted as Vijayakumar IPS who has executed Veerappan in real life, Vijayalakshmi acted as Muthulakshmi wife of Veerappan, Suresh Oberai as Kannada Super Star Rajkumar, Jayachithra as honorable Chief Minister Selvi Jayalalitha and Lakshmi Rai played a few scenes in this movie. Movie also released in Kannada. Director recently said to media that movie has captured the real life of Veerappan. Apart from that you can expect good action and chasing sequences since Action Star Arjun plays a major role.
