Movie is based on the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel which was filmed in the year 1950s. This movie “Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters” is a continuation to that earlier part. Hansel and Gretel are siblings where they have grown up as bounty hunters and they become famous and called as an expert in killing witches around the world. On other hand Muriel in Augsburg in Germany is planning to sacrifice children from local town on Witches gathering on Blood Moon night. Hansel and Gretel has been recruited by the Mayor to stop Muriel who is planning to abduct children and hunt down the witches.
