“Papanasam” movie is a re-creation of Mayalayam film called “Drishyam”. It was directed by Jeethu Joseph, and re-creating the same story in Tamil. Kamal Haasan plays prominent role along with Gautami. Niveda Thomas as Kamal Haasan’s elder daughter and Esther Anil as younger daughter. Movie is expected to be released on 3rd July 2015.
It is a whodunit drama film. Kamal Haasan is a businessman, having cable tv service. Gautami is housewife, Niveda is doing higher secondary and Esther is doing primary education. Niveda was photographed in restroom by the hidden camera by Roshan Basheer son of Police Inspector. Roshan was using those picture to blackmail Niveda, it was brought to the notice of Gautami. Unfortunately she had murdered Roshan to protect her daughter. Kamal Haasan wanted to safeguard his family from law, hence he had taken certain grim action which is going to be rest of the movie. Story line is pretty new to Tamil Audience. Drishyam was one the blockbuster super hit movie in Malayalam, hence Director is very much confident about similar success in Tamil as well.
